I had my breakfast early today, and everything seems to be in rush. Mum brought me early for my walk. Just as I was about to head home, I saw a familiar red car and it was my sis.
Mum lead me to the car, convincing that it was alright. At that moment, I knew I was not out for a drive or to visit grandma.
I saw trucks loaded with white crates and canned drinks. There were buses with the passengers pointing at me, I felt uneasy with such attention.. and soon, we arrived at the place.... the place I hate so much. VET PRACTICE. Dogs there are just so touchy-feely.
The first thing I had to do was to stand on to the gigantic black weighing scale. I hurried down once I was placed on it, and as a result, I earned a slap on my thigh. Oh well, you can't disagree with me that weight is a sensitive issue for girls, especially when you have boys looking at you.. guess I need to stop binging on those beef jerky.
Met 2 Bull Terrier and one King Charles Spaniel puppy. Drowning into the noise of those kids throwing tantrums, it was my turn.
My nightmare began when I was carried onto the cold, hard, metal examination table. All I wanted to do was to run... run.. run! But I was held firmly but 3 people – Karen, Kelly & the vet. While they were conversing, my coat was brushed and my ears were checked. As soon as my muscles relaxed, I felt a quick sharp pain near my butt. As quickly as the pain came, as quickly as I was brought out soon after.
You know, it's really hard being a dog.
You're easily picked up by the human and when you try to voice your objection, they will scream at you.
As I was about to get into the car, along came a grey handsome husky. We exchanged a few glances and.....
When will we ever see each other again?...
